How Placetta's AI works

Last updated: October 13, 2026

Effective date: 2026-10-13.

Placetta uses an AI agent, Odelia, to handle the paperwork of getting licenses, permits and registrations. This page explains what she does and where her limits are.

What the agent does

Where its answers come from

Odelia researches requirements on official government websites and cites the agency source, so you can check it.

What it never does on its own

Odelia never files, pays or sends anything by herself. Every filing and every message needs your approval in the app.

After you approve a filing, Placetta checks it against the agency's current requirements before submitting it. You always pay government fees yourself, directly to the agency.

It can be wrong

AI output can be wrong. Review every application and message before you approve it, and read the cited source when something looks off. Reminders help you, but your business remains responsible for its deadlines. Placetta is not a law firm and does not give legal advice.

Every action is recorded

The audit trail records every action by Odelia, by you, by our team and by agencies.
